I'm getting nowhere with the distress coordinates for stranded ships. I mean those distress call missions where you must find a ship, not where you must land on a planet to deliver something.
My last mission was 1 system away and i was in the vicinity of the jumgate at start which is very good. I had about 200 seconds left once in the system which is plenty of time. Yet I was not able to fly to the coordinates.
There are viarious posts with pilots having these problems
The best thread I found is this one,...

... but there's no final response to the problem.
Yes, I'm in the right system, yes I enter all 6 values of the coordinates as mentioned in the message; yes I don't confuse x,y, z with sx, sy, sz; yes I hit enter after finishing typing the values and yes: I even logged the position so it should just make the waypoint by clicking on it, right?
Even after the mission time was over I was not able to fly in this location
In the lower left of the NAV screen I read that this location is more than 20 sectors away which is nonsense. My C3 drive should get me everywhere in the vicinity of a "planet x" which is actually my position and the mission's statement.
So what's up exaclty that makes this? I start to believe that there must be some glitch in the message coordinates
Thanks to help!
