EM Quests

Post by Siege »

Is anyone creating Quests for EM. Finished or not, I would like to get my hands on a multiple stepped Quest so I can use it as test data for the Quest Editor that I'm planning. As odd as it sounds I'm not that interested in the actual quest itself, and i won't release it to anyone or anything i just need something to work with that has multiple steps in it.

So please U2u me and i'll send you my email to send it to me if you have, and are willing, to share your quest with me

Thanks,

Siege (Your friendly neighbourhood Util creator)

 Talk to SeeJay. He has the first part of one up and running. It appends the original quest.

Hmm that doesn't tell me how to add extra steps to a quest exactly, I get what you mean, but having the quest extend from there several steps would help me greatly, which is what I'm after I too heard someone was working on one, I'm just hoping they will send me a file to work with :)

 The first post at that link explains how to "append" the original quest. Meaning, you create a "questtext" text file and add it to the game's main folder. But not until after you've completed the original quest. The first appended quest message must be "-26" ... overriding the last original (and no longer available for display in chat) quest message.

;) Furhter down that same link, you'll find a list of quest codes. Any other questions, you can send me a U2U.

Hi Siege!

If you need a file to look at, I could provide you with a draft of my quest-file if you want.
It's not published yet, so it's top secret material for now.:P
