Romulan has forwarded his de-brief of last night’s sortie on B5 and it would seem he had a really good time of it.

Up first, and the only other pilot on at that time, was The Oasis Kid. She taunted Romulan a lot. You know, the usual ‘come and get me’ stuff with supplied location and accusations of Romulan being afraid etc etc. Normally stuff he would ignore but on this occasion what changed his mind were the taunts about his inability to destroy her both as a newbie and now as an experienced pilot, as if she was some sort of ‘Ace’. On Romulus women know their place.

So Romulan decided to dispel her theory and worked out a nice little surprise for her. As expected, the ‘Oasis was destroyed’ message brought the response of ‘??????’ but seemed to do the trick, as the taunts stopped.

It was about then that the whole [BA] Clan showed up in force - well, all two of them anyway.
So of course everyone made a beeline for Romulan and even MM commented that every one was ganging up on poor Romulan. This was to the delight of The Oasis Kid of course, who responded with ‘So what - it’s the ROMULAN!!’. Charming, I’m sure.

About then another pilot also joined the fray called corni (or something like that - sorry). So Romulan broke off from the baddies and went to visit the new pilot to say hello. Having said hello more than once, Romulan just loves those explosions, he waited around for the gang to catch up with him and there was a little more jousting then corni quit, and shortly after The Oasis Kid also quit. The poor wee lassie had to go do her homework. Arhh, what a shame.

Yet another pilot joined the fray called Ian. He kept out of the way to start with, so Romulan and the BA lads went to it with the Aliens trying their well-oiled two pronged attacks. Needless to say, first one down went Dangler, and a short while later, down the tube went old Bostik. (get it, down the tube) lol. :D

The Bad Aliens then had to quit as it was passed their bedtime, and those two uglies need all the beauty sleep they can get, so I don’t blame them. ;)

So finally Romulan turned his attention to Ian but he proved a bit too elusive so Romulan returned to base. You have escaped this time Ian – but next time ….

Sounded like a good evening’s entertainment and I know Romulan laughed a lot and really enjoyed himself. No doubt The Oasis Kid and BA would like to meet Romulan again.
Just to try and save face – a guys?

HAIL ROMULAN!

Hmmmm no mention of the pilot called "Burningflower" ,
I was hopeing to hear the "Rom's" version on how an attack againt a noob went wrong.:)

Looks like The Rom "otherwise known as the Noob slayer" will only report when he "kicks a puppy":(

BTW You have sunk to a new low by harrasing the BA clan ,everyone knows they are mostly harmless.:)

Watch your 6 Rom....,and 12 for that matter ,;)

And remember , some noob's have teeth.:):):)

Well, the teeth of BurningFlower (very pretty and effeminate name – where did that come from?) were all extracted on the first pass if I remember. MM’s log can confirm. And BTW, the response of ‘Who shot me – I was typing’ didn’t cut any ice either – you knew very well. True you evened it up a little later but one each is no bragging matter – hence no post.

We like your change of reference from ‘noob’ to ‘puppy’, and from ‘kill’ to ‘kick’. The word puppy is a much nicer sounding word and doesn't carry a derogatory implication.

We will adopt this - and all new players will no longer be called Noobs or Newbies but will be referred to as puppies.

Romulan may therefore be referred to as a ‘Puppy Kicker’ instead of a noob slayer or newbie killer. This is good, and although on your planet ‘Puppy Kicker’ may be thought of as a defamatory term, on Romulus it is not. Romulan’s don’t kick real puppies …. we eat them. :D

HAIL ROMULAN!
Well, almost. I think you will find that BA Pilot Dengar was not destroyed by the Rom. MM I think can confirm that the message of Dengars "death" did not contain the words Romulan or any other variation!

It should also be noted that the Rom did not find the courage to engage Clan BA alone. In fact, Romulan only felt confident of a kill on either myself or Dengar if he followd us on a very busy 70 fighter contract. Not only did he gain the contract fee for doing the grand sum of not a lot towards to contract, he chose this time, when myself and Dengar were battle damaged and low on both fuel and CM's to engage.

Not that I condem his actions. Given the chance, Clan BA would have done the exact same thing to him! It just would be nice for the Admiral "Spindari" to check his pet puppie kickers facts.

A message to the Romulan - Clan BA salute you as a pilot. You tactics are an example of how to win and not risk loosing. Until we meet again.

He actually took credit for completing YOUR contract and then had the gall to kill you!! That's rich! If you're going to be ruthless, might as well go all the way! LOL
Your remarks are too kind, Bossk! But it is funny! Nothing like adding injury to insult! LOL

Oh do give me a break SpinDoctor.

I accept you got me once, and I did comment on the fact. However to take the credit for our contract is lower than a snakes belly. I thought that the Romulans have more honour, but obviously not.

The fact that all the BA clan were flying is testament that they are probably one the most active full clans in Evochron. SW are not around to much, don't see NS or SD and as for the Borg threat....

We will meet again!

Oh and I wonder what Miss Oasis' homework was? Flower Arranging maybe?

I do admit that "all the BA clan" was there, but when "all" is only two, it's really not much to bragg about, since most clans can commit at least two members at a time.
But I do admire your comraderie.

Romulan gives respect to Clan BA for their skill and tenacity as combat pilots, and thanks Dangler for clarification on his demise.

Poor Bostik stuck his head out of the tube and got it wrong again. ;)

However, lets not fall out over a single shoot down of Dangler for he will suffer many more such ignominies at the hands of Romulan who says that next time, and if he can remember to do it, he will take a screen print of the message queue and post it with the de-brief. That should prevent any confusion. :)

Romulan is looking forward to his next sortie – and hopes to encounter Clan BA (after their required beauty sleep of course) and The Oasis Kid again or anyone else that desires a piece of Romulan.

BTW Kid, Romulan says that if you get a HW project about Romulus he will be happy to send you some holograms and data about our planet’s history and culture, but you mustn’t stay up too late playing Legends – theres a good girl. :D:D

Good hit, SpinDoctor!!!

I do not hold grudges for skilful flying and it cannot be denied Klingon Lookalike displayed such skill.

I suppose your version of Flower Arranging is Heads on Spikes arranging!!!!

B5, OK so there are only two of us, but when did you last see two UEs, NS, SD or even the largest (in volume only) clan SW in space at the same time?

I admit "SD" is all but totally defunct, mores the shame.
"NS" is another example of a clan w/o a leader.
"UE" is mostly a loosely knit, largely independent clan and never meant to be a force in the game.
On the other hand "SW" are still showing a strong and largely predominent prescence.
If you aren't seeing this, it is due to time zone shift.
But credit must be given to the "BA" clan as having lost the least amount of members!
I say, "Well done, BA" !:D

Good point! I did forget my 2 favorite "gumba's" from the old country.
You share the same remarkable feat as the BA clan as having not lost a member and most always show in full force.
It was a "Yoda moment"
When you get old, there are two things you lose.
One, is your memory.......

Sorry, I can't remember what the other one was...
