Up first, and the only other pilot on at that time, was The Oasis Kid. She taunted Romulan a lot. You know, the usual ‘come and get me’ stuff with supplied location and accusations of Romulan being afraid etc etc. Normally stuff he would ignore but on this occasion what changed his mind were the taunts about his inability to destroy her both as a newbie and now as an experienced pilot, as if she was some sort of ‘Ace’. On Romulus women know their place.
So Romulan decided to dispel her theory and worked out a nice little surprise for her. As expected, the ‘Oasis was destroyed’ message brought the response of ‘??????’ but seemed to do the trick, as the taunts stopped.
It was about then that the whole [BA] Clan showed up in force - well, all two of them anyway.
So of course everyone made a beeline for Romulan and even MM commented that every one was ganging up on poor Romulan. This was to the delight of The Oasis Kid of course, who responded with ‘So what - it’s the ROMULAN!!’. Charming, I’m sure.
About then another pilot also joined the fray called corni (or something like that - sorry). So Romulan broke off from the baddies and went to visit the new pilot to say hello. Having said hello more than once, Romulan just loves those explosions, he waited around for the gang to catch up with him and there was a little more jousting then corni quit, and shortly after The Oasis Kid also quit. The poor wee lassie had to go do her homework. Arhh, what a shame.
Yet another pilot joined the fray called Ian. He kept out of the way to start with, so Romulan and the BA lads went to it with the Aliens trying their well-oiled two pronged attacks. Needless to say, first one down went Dangler, and a short while later, down the tube went old Bostik. (get it, down the tube) lol.
The Bad Aliens then had to quit as it was passed their bedtime, and those two uglies need all the beauty sleep they can get, so I don’t blame them.
So finally Romulan turned his attention to Ian but he proved a bit too elusive so Romulan returned to base. You have escaped this time Ian – but next time ….
Sounded like a good evening’s entertainment and I know Romulan laughed a lot and really enjoyed himself. No doubt The Oasis Kid and BA would like to meet Romulan again.
Just to try and save face – a guys?
HAIL ROMULAN!
