This is the latest and final version of the Reaganaut cockpit. I've reached the limit of what I can accomplish without learning a lot more about 3D modeling. I hope to get a full shader-supported version completed some day, but for now this is the ultimate in luxury flying. I've included the final MQO files if you want to tweak or otherwise deconstruct the model in Metasequioa.

Fly, trade and fight in luxury with the latest in the Reaganaut series cockpit! Now more stylish than ever, this cockpit adds immersive details such as well-positioned laser emitters and particle guns, a mining beam and cargo loading system, emergency oxygen and fire suppression systems and even genuine HOTAS control hardware!

This cockpit mod is an expansion/revision of my previous cockpit mod, with a focus on adding to the immersion factor and retaining essential qualities, mainly the feeling of luxury, functionality, and an open view above, to the side of, and beneath the pilot. I'm not an expert 3D modeler, so this cockpit is essentially a kitbash of Vice's default cockpit from EM v1.xx, Ijon's Perch cockpit mod, various royalty-free props I found around the internet and, most interestingly, a few models from the original cockpit models in Origin Systems' Wing Commander: Privateer, which appeared in-game as static pre-rendered images.

The custom HUD is the latest version of my ThinHUD, now completely compatible with EM v2.xx.
