[EM] ThinHUD Mod for v2.xx

Post by DynamicRanger »

It took a lot of work, but I adapted my minimalist ThinHUD to v2.xx. Inspired by a desire for clean lines, readability, maximum visibility and Wing Commander III, this HUD mod eliminates clutter and displays vital info in stark red, green, yellow and white.

UPDATE: A few assets have been cleaned up and polished and a new quadrant map has been added. The 3D radar display now has white lines delineating the equator, prime meridian and poles, providing better situational awareness. The missile tracking indicator is cleaner and thinner, making precise shots against missiles easier. IDS-on and MDTS-lock icons have been added.

 It's available in the Game Options menu. Been there for awhile now. You can also decide if you want the drift indicator displayed on the HUD.
