the only way a new player could surprise romie would be someone who likes me prefers the lower/faster end of the civvy frames

Not necesarily, I have seen players with military ships surprise Romi, and not only that, you also need smarts and skills which most newbies lack.....

No, players in military frames hunt down Romie and managed to surprise Romie, Romie only hunts newbies.....LOL....

Once you achieve a certain rank your not a newbie any more and you pass your chance to be hunted by Romie.....So if you wan't to meet Rommie keep a low profile......LOL.....
