Newbie reporting in

Howdy, Evochron pilots!

Just started the single player game and am enjoying it. I cut my teeth on the old X-Wing and Wing Commander games and I'm loving this so far. I'm sure real life will make my progress a bit slow, but I hope to see some MP action before too long.

Quick question: Is there anyway to view commodities other than the short list on the docking/item screen? I'm going nuts waiting for electrical parts to show up in Sapphire or Erato. (If not, the economic aspect of this game would benefit greatly from a full commodities market and maybe even factory/warehouse construction later on.)

Hello and welcome.

The commodities for sale at a given location are displayed on that short list. For a complete list of commodities, use the 'News Console' which includes a market ticker for all commodities. If you can't find something you want at one location, try the others in the area to keep hunting. In a supply and demand based economy structure, what you want will usually turn up at one of the locations nearby and there are many in the Sapphire/Erato area.

Constructing new places/stations/'factories' for trade and inventory... stay tuned

Hi Maddog, Welcome to the game and forum. I think only for the station your docked at under the news console....Also pay attention to the Economy class of the nearest planet to figure out what are the commodities that sell well at that station.....

Best way is usually to log on to B5 when others are on the server. Quite often, one or more players are doing a bit of trading and have figured out where's a good place to buy and where's a good place to sell.

ABOUT TIME I FOUND THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!
I been serching for something like this after i got hook on Independencewar. Been lookling for a game like this for years and only just found it today. I can't belive I had never run into this game till now.

GOT TO SAY I LIKE IT ALREADY!!!! got to take my hate off to "StarWraith 3D games" and other keep this going for so long, unlike the other place wher the drop the ball once they think thye got their money worth

I only download the demo and brought the game after I launch the training. Lookling to kill you all

ofcouse after I get the hang of the game first.

I ussually do warn new players of Romi, because most new players are kind, but this one right of the bat looks forward to killing us all, so I decided to be a little less kind to him although it goes completely against my belief of to be killed first before you kill others only in games that is....LOL.....
