I am using Logitech 3d pro and has no mod function in its own software.
Also I don't use scripts, repeated command sets. Just flying my own "fist law". I like it.

After all, I can beat many pilots who uses SST. SST is some kind of cheating!!!!!

Don't mean, SST and scrips are bad. Of course brings many advantages. But flying as mechanical is also cool and enjoying.

I will buy a Hotas soon (actually bought but site had a problem, Joystick was out of stock). When I bought it, will I use SST or other scripters??? Mods????.....Yeeah!!!!! :P:P:P:P:P:P:P

yikes! thats ambitious! You really love flight sims! You might be best served, buying some military surplus equipment. I know there is a huge place in arizona, that strips anything with wings, and sells the parts. Real joysticks and controls from real planes. I cant remember the name just now, but it shouldnt be too hard to track down.

Build your own little cockpit!

I've started on a road with a very slippery slope, creating a custom HOTAS set.
If I can have it made at a reasonable price I will be very happy.
As currently designed the controllers have 65 switch positions, 8 axes, and POV hat.
This should give me enough commands on the controllers to handle most simulations easily.

Getting it built, might be more difficult and take some time. Most likely this is going to be my x-mas present to myself. :P :D
Whoa!

What do you mean? Can you do it?
Oh man , he is designing his own controller, we are playing guitar :(

Register it, I want to buy one !!!!

Come and play with Jay- Lo now ( my Logitech) :( :( :(

Twice now, the joysticks stay lit when I shut my machine off. Is that just me, or does anyone else experience that? I have to yank the plug on them to shut them off.

talking about the X-52

That's perfectly normal. Some USB ports are always hot. You might try another port.

How about your keyboard? If it's USB connected and the "Num Lock" key lights up on boot-up, does it stay lit after you shut down?

All my other USB stuff goes off. The weird thing is, that its only intermittent. It happens about once a week. But there they are, lighting up the room all by themselves. I will try moving to a new USB next time.
