Sensor placement invalid, must be within -50k to +50K
I've delt with this message for a while now.. And it's getting on my last nerve. What does this mean? -50k to +50k what? I don't get it.. This is probably a really stupid question but I just don't get it

In a sector you have +/- 100 000 positions on all three axis.
The message mean that you have to build wihing +/- 50 000 form the center of a sector on all 3 axis.
Fully zoomed in, it's in the center 4 squares you must build.

The Inner square of a sector is the 50k boundaries. You have to build stations and deploys with in that inner square (in EM anyway - can't speak for EL).From post: 186723, Topic: tid=12543, author=Foxwing Delta wrote:I've delt with this message for a while now.. Yeah, I think it's so the sensor map touches the very edge of a sector cube, without going over the boundary to the next one. Probably a game limitation made for simplicity rather than function....not a big deal, just build at x50,000, y50,000 z 50,000 +/- in any part of the sector to ensure it reaches an edge.
At least I THINK
Do sector pods only cover the green area, or the entire sector, or something in between?
NOT probes, I know they are smaller coverage

Do, or do not, there is no try.

Hello,
Yes, all three co-ords x,y,z need to be within the range of -50,000 to +50,000. You can check this on the nav map.
@matchbox2022, I guess you mean the deployed sensor. I covers the area withing the circle +- a little. When deployed you should see on you nav map an extra detailed area showing ships and some objects.
