I'd like to, once again, welcome the newest players to EM, and those who have recently aligned with "X" Clan. Being relatively new myself, I found X to be a friendly bunch as well as knowledgeable and helpful with the workings of the game. This is a social medium like any other and it is only as welcoming as the people you meet. With that said, my thanks to the Veteran players as well for all your help.

So... since I have decided to fly without benefit of Jump Drive technology, and like to get in occasional battles and occasionally demolish stations (regardless of clan or Indy affiliation), I think it might work best to throw my lot in with [X] faction.

You may be asking why I have no qualms with demolishing Indy stations as well as clan.

Consider that my only means of rapid multi-sector travel are available Jump Gates, Worm Holes and Black Holes, and you will see me as not being able to do massive damage in a short amount of time.

Also, If I think your station is well placed to service the players of Evochron should they visit that sector, I will let it alone.

To SchiTzo and Danieru_x: Welcome to the game! You'll find the "X" members most willing to help you along the way and possibly divulge a few tricks as well as assist if you are under attack by a hostile clan/pilot. There are a few of us who are on frequently so if you need any help or just want to jump in on the chaos you're always welcome.

You'll have to forgive my not responding in the game chat from time to time. I'm typically in clan channel or getting myself killed; I'm not ignoring anyone. I may not see your message. Firing a few shots at me always gets my attention

So what is happening with the other hostile clans now. I hardly see any online. I can't wait to skill up and get some hardcore pvp action. Lol

ahah you don't need find a clan to have a fight. You are a X if you see a player who doesn't have a good face for you you are free to have a fight with him.

Technically, every other clan is hostile to "X". That doesn't necessarily mean that you'll be engaged in combat when you encounter a pilot aligned with a different clan. Its always a possibility though. There are those who regard it as their sworn duty to harass "X" in which we kindly, and promptly, return the courtesy. As far as PVP: Organized or "friendly" PVP typically takes place on the Ceti Alpha V server at sector coordinates 0.0.7 (There is a station there, "PVP Arena"). It has been vacant lately. Hopefully this pilot wont mind the mention, but Rubber Chicken is skilled in PVP as well as all other aspects of the game. I'd recognize him as the "go to guy" to get info for the best setup for combat and exploration. Nevertheless, we'll all lend a hand. All you have to do is ask.

If this was a Multiple Waypoint mission with 64 enemies then it is not a fair fight for the 3 Clan members if all the 3 of them complete the mission!....LOL!......(I'm Sarcastically Joking here!)

It's a great achievement if it was 3 relatively
new players.

It's no match for a Veteran 1 vs 64.

Either way it's great fun and I love hearing
storys that pilots fight together again.

Pressing the G key until the right side multi-function display turns off will prevent accidental missile lock-on and launch when a friendly is targeted, but I don't know if it prevents accidental FT launches. FT's don't require a lock-on to fire....
