Chattbox cutoff
On the left and right side of my screen are spots where my mouse wont go , as wells as an area of chat menu that won't show up. I think iv'e seen this issue somewhere else on the forums but cannot find the fix. I'll try to get a screen-cap up shortly.

You likely have a text mod installed that needs updating for new options: http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10434

From the left of the chatbox , and the right side from the cursor i can't reach that area of the screen . So it wasn't necessarily the text .(the screen-cap is with no text mods active)

Try using the chat text mod from Vice's link. Either that or the one attached to this post. My screen resolution is 1920x1080 and it works just fine for cursor movement on the left side ... moving the chat window to the far left, where I can still cursor over the scroll bar. Usually, I ignore the right side.

i downloaded that , it sent the chattbox off the screen , and instead of stopping my cursor it disappeared . My money is on a resolution error of some kind , judging by how the chattbox doesn't help very much.

That, there, is the problem. From Vice's link:
The value you want to work with is the 6th ... from your screenshot, it looks like the chat window can be moved left ... just not as far as -7.5 ... so, start with a smaller number. If you're good with math, you can calculate a ratio between my screen resolution and yours ... then apply that ratio to the correction in the 6th value.chattext.dat = 1st value sets the red color (0-255, default 200)
2nd value sets the green color (0-255, default 200)
3rd value sets the blue color (0-255, default 200)
4th value sets the X pixel offset (usually leave at 20)
5th value sets the Y pixel offset (usually leave at 50)
6th value sets the X position (ie -7.5 for widescreen displays)
7th value sets the Y position (usually leave at 0)

Plus, remember that the mouse pointer is limited to the forward HUD projection field (flight and selection modes). So if you're at a 4:3 resolution, it will pretty much reach the edge of the screen. If you're at a 16:9 resolution, it will appear capped in at the edges slightly. If you're using an even wider resolution, it will appear limited to the more central region of the screen (or screens if you're using more than one). The reason for this intended functionality is detailed a little further here: http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtop ... #pid111290
