I never saw any crows at a bar, I never get drunk though! Maybe there are special crow bars where they hang out!....

OK, how exactly did we get to this subject?
Wait. First answer this: do I really want to know how we got onto this subject?
On second thought, forget the whole thing.
New transmission arriving shortly.

The Flight Logs of the C.D. Exploration Vessel
I opened one eye and peered cautiously at The Scourge from my spot on the floor on the opposite side of the room as where he was laying. 'Good.' I thought, 'He's still sleeping. Perfectly good chance for me to make a run for it.' Slowly and silently getting to my feet, I tiptoed towards the door. Opening it, I stepped through and then quickly shut and locked it.
A smile spread across my face as I thought about what The Scourge would do when he found out I was gone... really he should have made it much more difficult for me. I was slightly disappointed that it had been so easy to get away.
I turned around and promptly ran into someone. Looking up, my face quickly lost it's smile and I sighed.
"Were you really going to lock me in that room until someone came looking for me? I would've thought better of you Cindy." The Scourge grinned at my now crestfallen face. "And did you really think that it'd be that easy to get away from me? Besides, a grown man like I am has no business sleeping in the same room as you. So I just let you think that was what I was doing."
"Yes, I was going to lock you in that room, but I was going to eventually send someone to check on you. I thought that perhaps you were slipping. Where did you sleep then?" I crossed my arms and let icicles form on my extremely cold-toned words.
"I slept in the pilot's seat."
"Oh. That figures." I could feel a frustrated frown slip over my face.
"Shall we get some breakfast and then go work on your ship? You don't have anywhere to go until after your ship is repaired... and until it's repaired, we can talk."
"Why don't we skip the breakfast and the talking, and just get the Canary Dido fixed?"
"Why, aren't you hungry Cindy?" The Scourge asked me slightly puzzled.
"I might be hungry, but I won't have much of an appetite with you around. I'll be too worried about what you're going to do to me." I glared at him.
"I won't hurt you, but I'm guessing you won't take my word for it, right?"
"Right."
The Scourge sighed. "Well we can go aboard the city and you can eat on the opposite side of the room as I'm on, but no trying to run, okay?"
"Whatever." I replied. The thoughts in my brain were all about how I could escape.
"OK. That is good enough for me." The Scourge let me into the lift first and then followed, watching my face intently.

The Flight Logs of the C.D. Exploration Vessel
The Scourge let me out of the lift first and then told me, "Just tell them to put your breakfast on Jed's tab."
"Jed?" I asked, looking at him with raised eyebrows.
"One thing you should know, miss Cindy, is that you should always have a fake identification card with you." The Scourge grinned at me as I turned away disgusted. I couldn't believe that I hadn't thought of that. I made my way over towards a table, sat down, and glared at The Scourge as he made his way over to table on the other side of the room. As he sat down, he glanced towards me and grinned again.
I turned away and waited for a waitress to come take my order. Since Jed was paying, I wasn't worried about how much it cost. As I waited, I scanned the room for station attendants... preferably the kind with badges and guns. Of course, I couldn't tell them that I was Cindy - that would never do. However, I could make up a fake name, get The Scourge stopped for kidnapping me, and slip away. My conscience bothered me a little with my plan... after all The Scourge had rescued me, but then again, I preferred not finding out what he really wanted with me. Besides, if he was half as good as I was, he probably wouldn't stay in the jail for more than 2 hours. And if he wasn't, well... he shouldn't have been messing with me to begin with.
My planning abruptly got stopped as a waitress in a white apron with brown hair and green eyes approached me. "Hello there! What can I get for you?"
"Hi. How about some pancakes?" I asked trying to make my forced smile look genuine.
"Sure! Anything else? Something to drink perhaps?" The waitress smiled back at me and scribbled something on her paper.
"Maybe some orange juice? And could you give me some information as well?" I mustered all of the politeness that I could... this was one reason that I hardly ever ate out... people make me nervous. You never know what they're planning until it happens... and then it usually is bad.
"Orange juice it is. What can I help you with in the area of information?" The waitresses smile was now getting on my nerves.
"I'd like to know when the station crew usually eats." I told her forcing my smile to stay in place.
"Ohh you probably want to meet the Captain, right?" The waitresses smile got broader... if that was even possible.
"Yeah!" I exclaimed much more enthusiastically then I felt.
"He is a nice man. He'd probably love to meet you!" She said.
I thought, 'Probably... so that he could lock me up to collect the bounty that the navy has on my head... well... any navy except the top secret base on Sapphire, but no one knows that they hired me to do their work.' But I kept the smile on my face and nodded my agreement.
"He'll be here in about 10 mins.. Probably with some of the other crew members. Is that all you needed?" Her smile stayed in place... oh how that smile aggravated me!
"No, that is all for now. Thank you!" I kept my forced smile up until she walked away then scowled... if you smile too long you'll get it stuck on your face... and how terrifying would Cindy, the terror of the Evoverse, be then?
"Jed?" I asked, looking at him with raised eyebrows.
