this is exactly the kind of cockpit i'd like personally. I have no modding skills, but i can offer my endless gratitude to anyone who would make a version of this (or something in the same vein) for EM. What do you mean my endless gratitude is worthless?:D

Bump. I agree, that cockpit would be awesome. Just think about it modders...that's double the gratitude...

great cockpit.

if no one is faster, i might take care about that soon(TM).
am new to the series though and modding. need to acclimate first and absorb this game as well as some info. (:

helas.

tie fighter cockpit was to much metal in the face for my taste. i'll get back to the saga some time, but not that soon. building new things is more fun.

am flying around in the first prototype of an open cockpit to get a clue of the measures. (: good fun and quite an impact on the feeling. didn't expect that. not entirely sure when, but

you will get:
a single seater.
not that industrial look of the original, a bit sleeker. i' ll never the less try to give it some 'touch' since we live in these cockpits ,don't we. :D
relevant displays only: radar, status, target status. all non functional buttons/screens will be removed. rather i'd like to position a holy coffee mug, few beer cans, an ashtray and an axe. not sure yet.

am running the game on a single screen and i own no headtracker. stuff will have to be optimized after your input.

once there is something to see, a new thread will be opened. so stay tuned for minimalism markII!

:cool: Which is one reason why I like Final's Trek console ... yeah, it has buttons. But nothing to give you the impression, "Hey, that gauge should be fluctuating and that readout should be ... er, reading out!?" So, I'm definitely with you on that one.

Does anyone have this cockpit mod by Carwash established into Evochron Mercenary? And if you do, where could I get the file?
