Farming and erning money

Hi guys

i am new to this game (more or less).
just playin a bit around on my own public server.

but i have two questions, which are nowhere directly answered.

are there Stations / buildings, which can farm money ?
for example:
the energy station produces power cells, batteries, solar arrays and so on, and free Traders visit the Station, and buy the products, so i can gain money for this.

or the Tradestation, everyone, where comes in and buy something, and i get the money, bcoz, its my station.
even free Traders (NPCs).

Is it possible to have more than one ship ?
so i can get a navigator, put em in a ship, and i can order him to do something. like mining, or transport something throught the galaxy and sell it or buy it.
so i can fly my own ship.

please, dont post links, i know all those links.
but these questions are not exactly answered.

just tell me yes or no.

No farming as you explain it at this time.

You can only have one ship "IN USE BY YOU" but you can hire AI ships to help you. You can also change back and forth between different ships within a profile. Hope that helps some.

Actually, they have been answered. But, to answer again:

The only way you make money from a trade station is to take advantage of two facts: (1) you won't be charged a docking fee (which saves you money) and (2) all items cost less ... allowing you to buy items at your own station at discount rates and then sell them to a nearby station for a profit.

You can have more than one ship. But that's not the method for getting somebody else to do your work. You hire other pilots (AI) and then give them orders to do specific tasks.

Hi and welcome.

You can store ships at stations or
citys for a fee and then swap ship.
(You store a copy of the ship you are in).

You can get a steady income by controlling
a system by doing contracts with a clan tag on
in MP. Then build stations with clan tag
in the name to decrease the drop rate
when the clan is offline. You get paid for
every system you control.

Yo SkyRanger! Welcome aboard! Everyone else (almost) hath given the WORD on yer ship and stuff....
Cash-farming....humpfff. Haven't heard it quite called that way, 'til now. Think whatcher interested in may be mickleing out that sweet trade run. Ya know, the one that nets you all the ducats! And...and...is repeatable. Lather, rinse, repeat! Useful note: log-on to most "active" game-server offerings. Ask as few, or one, of the "vets", as to where they might suggest. Some one of them may be willing.... Might be a coin-toss tho.
