Hey guys,
I just ran into a little issue while trying to open one of my pilotx.sw (ie pilot04.sw) files located in C:/sw3dg/EvochronMercenary. They open with a text reader like Note Pad - which they should - but Note Pad just displays a bunch of gibberish, which resembles a mix between Chinese and WingDings or something. It's completely illegible.
I've opened these files in the past without any problems. What am I doing wrong this time?...
Thanks in advance for any help.
~ Viper.
Edit: EEEK typo!

That is what you should expect to see, they are encrypted.

Right, that explains it. I'm probably mistaking the pilotx.sw files for the maplogx.sw files or something else then. I'm pretty sure that back when I used to mod around I used to look in some kind of file to see what the number was for the gun my ship was using. Is there another file I can find that in? Some kind of savegame or similar file perhaps?
