I doubt the location of star systems will change. But it's likely that the graphics for the map will be updated ... as it did when going from EL to EM.

I did find out that a planet that wasn't there anymore, and I also found one that wasn't there before.

Definitely new systems! on locations you've never even dreamed of finding one.

Never played AA, would inertial flight be still the way to go at least during combat in space as I think it's a strong point in Evochron ?

I'm sure Inertial will still be a player.

Btw, I've added this thread to Viper's Table of Contents, found here:

I finished Arvoch Alliance using my advanced combat tactics that I use in Evochron. And I must say that the combat in AA was far superior to the combat in Evochron mercenary.
By superior I mean a lot more difficult with better AI, creating a more engaging combat experience.
If AA had the same AI as EM, then I would probably find it way too easy.
It would be interesting to see difficulty settings in that game, now that I think of it.

You can see from Vice's video that even the cockpit has dramatically changed. And, if combat in AA is any indication, so will tactics. Understood. Looks like I might have to make a new series once the expansion comes out.

Much of the received wisdom about combat tactics in the threads and guide will become out of date when the Expansion is released, so lots will have to be rewritten as people work out what is successful!

I think updated combat videos would be very welcome!

 Yup. If you make them, I'll add them to Viper's "compendium of (almost) everything worth linking" in the Evoverse.

RedFalcon, my compliments for your video series, it is a really good one and will be of use to many new players.
I have included your video series into the resources thread, replacing Mecingo's old tutorials series.

Excellent work, sir.

That's for including them.

Looks like the Steam sale brought in a lot of new pilots. I'll make some more tutorials soon. I'm going to change the format a bit to hopefully get as much information per minute as possible.
