Evometrics issues ingame

Post by Syrinx »

Hello all. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes.

I have just got evometric installed and all set up. It runs fine but it isn't doing anything. I thought it would allow me to zoom the map into where I currently am a bit more than the entire known EM universe. Currently whenever I try and get it to zoom in on either my location or somewhere else, it doesn't work or it seems to zoom in at some random point with nothing around, I then have to muddle around with it to get it back to the whole map view again.

Now I know I'm doing something wrong here but I can't for the life of me figure it out. It's more than likely something VERY basic and easy to understand, but I'm just bumbling around blind.

I have got EM-Tool up and running too and I dunno, the map in that seems to be more helpful than the map in Metrics, granted I can see a lot more systems easily with metrics, but it's just such a hassle at the moment, until I get to know how it works.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated as the manual doesn't say anything regarding how to actual use it, only how to set it up with the savedata.txt thingy.

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome.

To zoom you double click in any of the 4 quadrants.
To zoom more, just double click again in the new zoomed quadrants ....

Good luck!
