How do i load a saved game????

I played the game for a few hours...completing contracts and such...saved the game and exited. Next time I got into the game and launched my ship, I was back at square one. What the crap.

When you save is critical. You can't save during an active contract, which may be what happened. Always watch for error messages in the message log when you attempt to save. And it's a good habit to get into to just press Alt-F9 after completing actions in the game to quickly save your progress.

When did you save (you can't save when in the middle of a contract) and to which profile?

Also, when the game starts it shows you a list of your pilots profiles which you have 99 slots to save to. I can't remember that many:D. When you click on a slot it will tell you all about that pilot in the boxes to the left. It can tell you when it was saved,how much money and equipment at a outline of the ship you have for that pilot.

I played for several weeks before I realised that the pilot profile list scrolls down - you can have 100 profiles saved - not just the 7 or 8 you see at the start

When you get it sorted, I suggest you save your main profile 2 or 3 times so if one gets damaged you have reserves!
