Hi

Im Newbie trying to change my reputation to good in pearl, right now im doing only the missions that give me 7 or 8 waypoints to kill 77-87 ships for Oasis Navy.
I think that how this mission allow you to kill so many targets its the fastest way is it true?

Or im better doing smaller missions(10 ships) that are more fast and i can do more in less time?

Im asking because even i killing a lot, it takes 2 to 3 missions to change 1% of faction relations with anyone witch i think is too little.

On1 last thing, im using Fulcrum torps to kill 10-12 ships in a single shot but sometimes it kills even navy energy ships that is fighting the rebels in the mission. Does this F#%$ my relations that im trying to get with them?(they are reds for me and shoot me if they can even if the missions are from them)

Thanks for the help and if there is a faster way to gain relations please tell me! :P

I Speak Portuguese so sorry for my english. :o

 First off, if you're doing this in multiplayer, you won't change your global reputation (the one shown on the right-hand side of the Nav Map) ... you can only change it in single player. And the easiest, cheapest way to do that is to, first, build your own trade station somewhere nearby (but at least two sectors away from any game-placed station). Then do as many non-combat contracts as you can: delivery of goods, ID a cargo pod, or retrieve a cargo pod. And don't do any contracts for Guild or Rebles.

You can change your Singleplayer system rep in Multiplayer, in fact for some reason it seems easier in MP, you just can't see it when it happens. Log of MP and into SP from time to time to see your progress.
Warning: a peaceful Pearl is really unsettling and kind of eerie.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

Yeah, wouldn't know how to act if Pearl weren't hostile. All those opportunities to Kill, Kill, Kill!!!! Too bad the job of Grim Reaper is already taken.:P

 True. But the new global reputation will only show up in SP. Be advised, though, that if you've built up a good faction reputation in MP and then go to SP, your global reputation might increase ... but, when it does, it resets the faction reps for both SP and MP.

Thanks for all the info.

Im changing a lot faster relations doing smaller missions 1 waypoint only and 10/12 ships or hunt a ace WITHOUT Fulcrum Torpedos.

I Have used in 2 missions Fulcrum Torpedos(Hitting only rebels all at once) and seems like it nullify your relations i dont know why.

The non-combat missions i dont have any, only see one but was for the guild(delivery).

 You'll get the non-combat contracts as soon as your global reputation changes to Moderate.
