Norton Update Causing Blue Screens (BSOD's)...

Although it's not a recommended product for gamers due to its interference, system stability, and performance issues (see Steam page here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -SFLZ-9289 ), if you do use Norton on any of your systems, the July 11th update is apparently causing blue screen crashes (apparently most common on XP systems) and they have provided a support page for the problem here: https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton- ... vid=f-home

So this should help get your system running again in case you want to uninstall Norton and install something else without such issues.

woof ..... Will NEVER get Norton again. Wound up getting a Trojan off of their website updating definitions. Have MS Security Essentials now so no problems here.
