A Hello and newb question thread

Post by Tilron »

So first, Hello everyone.

Just bought Evochron Mercenary via gamersgate and ran the training missions. Looks like a fun game. I also play EvE online but this seems to be a little more free form then EvE and the flying into planet is fun. Done that a few times now for no reason other than I can.

So my question, is it worth starting the single player game and getting a hang of the game before I jump on to an online server or should I jump onto an online server to learn the basics with the friendly community?

 Either way. Most of what you do in SP carries over into MP. So, if you want to start off in single-player, go ahead. But the MP Evoverse is about as friendly as MP can get. And helpful, too.
