Hi
I don't see much activity in the chat window, but no one is my sector.
Will you see chat across all sectors or only if you are in range to actually see someone in that sector ?
Please describe how the chat system works

You will see any chat regardless of where people are.
Voice works for the sector you are in only.
Just press Enter, start typing, press Enter when done.
Target a players ship and Alt+Enter will send a text
That only he/she can read.
