Fly-By View Disable?

Fly-By View Disable?
When I enable the fly-by view I'm unable to return to the cockpit view without exiting the game. I must be missing something simple

Fly-By View Disable?
Just press the V key to return to the cockpit. You can use the V key to return from any view mode and toggle through the primary modes.

I thought I'd searched every Key.
