Mouse keyboard combo

Don't know if this is the correct place to put this, but I didn't want to put it in tech support as it's more of a user question than a glitch.

Is there anyway to map an axis to the mouse but have it only apply when a key is pressed?

What I want to do is map the roll axis to the mouse but only if the left shift key is pressed. Otherwise the mouse should yaw left and right.

Is this possible and if so, how? If not I understand.
