How do I set Pitch
In reading some of the posts here people say to set pitch to zero. Like when flying to a gate. How do I do that? I figure its probbly in the Nav F1 but Ive looked for a way to do it and can't seem to find it.

The pitch is your angle in relation to the Galactic ecliptic!. Your pitch lader shows in your HUD(Heads Up Display) and is in angles -90 t0 0 t0 90 degrees. At 0 degrees your aligned with the Galactic plane!
Press H on Keyboard till you see your pitch lader in your HUD then move your Joystick or use the Up and Down Arrows on Keyboard to move up or down to change your pitch till it reads zero!....

As Maarschalk said you have to find the pitch ladder in your HUD, although I would have to describe it as a ladder with no rungs.
Basically get the most busy HUD up you can then start messin with pitch until you see 2 parallel bars moving around on the outer edges of the HUD. These bars should have numbers on them denoting pitch angle relative to the ecliptic.
The whole idea behind setting pitch to zero is that alot of the objects in the universe require your pitch to be zero relative to the plane of the ecliptic and by messing with it before a jump you won't have to fret about it after the jump (using thrusters to align after a jump with hardly any time to think about it is a pain).
Flying through a gate is easy after some practice, you find the icon on the nav map (looks like a purple x kinda deal), right click on it to set your nav marker directly in its center, set your pitch to 0 (parallel with the ecliptic), turn your ship until the compass at the top says your heading is 0 or 180, and jump. If your drive can jump the distance you will warp in heading directly down the center of the lane, and you just coast right on through.

In the picture below the pitch of the ship is about 80 as you can see in the numbers (ladder) to the left and right of the center aim circle. To get to Zero pitch you would move the ship nose up in this case till the ladder numbers show Zero ( 0 ).

Also goes for Stations!
For quicker docking right click on station in the NavMap set pitch to 0 degrees hit F2 for jump and you should slide right into the station! For Constructor Station docking your Compass/directional angle has to be 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees!
