SZ: 30,000 sectors

Post by Cheri50000 »

Hi, guys!

When I fly past SZ: 30,000 sectors from Sapphire, I noticed that there are no hostile and no friendly spacecraft out there. I checked the news console, I noticed that there are no percentage graphs for the navy, energy, guilds, rebels, and miners, just little dashes, and the materials except fuel is 0.

Cheers,
Cheri and Vincent

Congrats Cherri and/or Vincent! Not much to find so far out I hear, except ghost ships are such, but with this game, you never know :P Let us know when you see these icey asteroids rumored to be out that far :)

Hi, Austin!

Thank-you! When you are that far out in deep space like where I'm at now which is I'm now SZ: 36,892 sectors away from Sapphire, I don't think I have to worry about the hostile ships at all!

Cheers,

 The inhabitants, that far out in space, no longer require mortal bodies, let alone space ships. They are that advanced. :o

hmmmm - I agree about hostiles - they disappear around 25K (mostly!) - I was swamped with Talon friendlies though! (10+ when I first jumped into a sector - rumour has it that they are gorfburger "vans" and since there aren't many customers out there they tend to congregate. Have you seen any ghost planets yet? :D

Hi, DaveK!

Is that right? So at around SZ: 25,000 sectors away from Sapphire, mostly no hostiles, that makes sense. It sounds like the farther out you go, there will be less and less hostiles gets to the point until there will be no hostiles at all! As far as ghost planets go, I haven't see any ghost planets at all, and it looks like Vice fixed the ghost planet bug!

I'm away for a couple of days - I'll check on ghost planets when I get back. Sometimes they are to the side and sometimes behind you! They can be a bit hard to see as well! :D

The ship selections you see depend on whether you are in SP or MP

Keep an eye on the system you are in in the navmap - you might be in for a surprise! :D

Yep - the Talons are still there and so are the ghost planets though the profile I used was at sX=44K (I didn't save any closer to Sapphire than that :(

It might be different since you are heading North and I went East :)

Hi, DaveK!

Do you know what the names of the ghost planets you saw at SX: 44,000 sectors away from Sapphire? Thanks!

I can't give you the info you ask for without spoiling the journey for you. ;)

If you want a spoiler (and I suspect you don't) have a look at the "Blog of a Deepspace Explorer" on the clan fiction thread. It describes what I found as I tried to find the edge of the Universe . . . . refuelling - flying - refuelling - flying again and again . . . . I managed 250100 sectors the hard way. ;)

One day later Maars used his magic crystal to go 300000 sectors out to beat me - he's a hard man!! :P

All I will say is that id you get to around 200K out you'll probably break the clan stats so no-one can see how well their systems are doing! :P:P:P:P:P
