Folks, I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for EM. As an older fella who mgrew up with an Atari 2600 I don't have the time or the desire to immerse myself in quest lines and endless battles. I have always wanted a space based game that allowed me the freedom to do the things middle aged fellas like to do; make lotsa cash and buy cool stuff!!
EM is the best! I don't hafta fight anyone unless I want to. If folks camp out at the jump gates to pwn noobies like me I just jump right past em'! heh:P
The forums and instructions have taught me as much as I want to learn and left me to find the neato stuff on my own.
I appreciate the intent you all have to keep the game as free as possible but I will gladly pay a monthly fee to keep this game alive. Thanks again!
I can only agree. It is a great game and it gets better all the time since Vice, the creator of this, keeps
listening to all players and apply great ideas if it's possible.
The expansion is going to be sweet as well.
Hope to see you out there and don't hesitate to ask if you need help with anything!

Thanks Seejay! Hope to see you out there as well. I just bought a second video card so I can run one for each of my monitors. Has anyone tried to run the game on dual monitors?
Ah ha! So now I find out who the genius is! VICE I bow to you kind sir! Thanks for such a cool game! :)

Hey Lock Out! Welcome aboard! (One "old guy" to another). My roommate Torn, has run EM on a dual-monitor set-up, with no problems encountered. He's using a sinlge GTX550 Titanium card; Core-Duo proc and 8 gigs mem,; two 22" plasma screens. He's got it set up so that the left edge of one and the right edge of the other gives the appearance of a single strut, running the middile of the cockpit "glass". If that's close enough to whatcha got, you shouldn't have much in the way of problems getting your own lash-up working.
