New to the System!

Hey guys I just wanted to introduce myself. I just heard about the Evochron series a couple days ago. I was a big fan of Freelancer ever since it came out it was absolutely one of my favorite games. I was searching for a game with similar play style and came across and add for this game on Steam and how awesome it is! I have about 15 hours logged so far in the last 2 days and cant get enough this game is epic. Anyway I look forward to being a very active member in the community. One question I have is it seems all the posts on the forum say that they were posted on today's current date. I was wondering how I fix this to see when they were actually posted.

Hello zwt2135, welcome to the forum and the Sim. The post date one the right side of the main page will have todays date as the forum defaults to one days posting. If you open a thread up you will then see what date each pilot posted a comment to that thread. If you want to see more posts then at the bottom of the page you should see a box that says something like " Show thread activity from the past [1] days " and you can change this to as many as you like. The forum "Will" return to the single days posts however.

The problem I have though is ever post on the forum as well as the registered date for ever member is today's date. So I am wondering why this error is occurring?

It is so strange every day it just stays the same like I am in a time warp the day I joined the forum and I cant get out!!!!

Hi Zwt2135, welcome to the game and forum!.....Hope to see you out there some time!.....

As to the date of posting, I do not know how many hours are in your day but in mine there are 24 hours.
Since you registered on 3-1-2012 depending on your time zone you might have posted all your posts within the 24 hours of the forums time zone settings! So you would not notice a change in date until you post a post acording to the forums time zone date change!

I only see one post of you posted on 3-2-12 at 2:15 AM!......

Well the problem isn't really about my posts that would make sense but the fact that the post you just wrote toady still says you wrote it at 03-01-1012 at 11:44am

What are your date and time settings in your system tray? are these up to date?

Well I am sure glad that this post is in its proper location.......that being the rookie pilots and noobs because that is what I am hahaha I just looked under my user settings and when I signed up at like 4am the other day I changed the date format to show 03-01-2012 instead of mm-dd-yyyy so it was stuck on ground hog day setting haha thanks for all the help guys appreciate it! I changed it back to the original setting and everything works a-OK now!
