We have a winner...Congratulations goes out to Maarschalk. Maarschalk against all odds became the first pilot in Evochron Mercenary to land on Earth in Singleplayer and Multiplayer which is a historic feat within itself.

I would like to also thank everyone who participated in this contest. Maarschalk has taught us we can all be winners if we follow Yoda's famous saying, "There's no try, only do."

Here are the Rules:

Through Dingo's generosity, he is offering 5 Billion credits to the next Pilot who successfully lands on Earth. The credits will be transferred into your account upon proof of landing.

1) You have to record your call sign here in this thread to become an official participant.

2) Your landing has to be in Multiplayer.

3) In this thread, you have to provide convincing visible screen shots that you were there, and at least 2 pilots from the contest who will vouch for the authenticity of the landing.

4) You also agree by your participation, that if you land on Earth, you agree to keep it a secret. You also agree by your participation, that if you are the winner of this contest and you reveal how it was done, you agree to forfeit all your winnings to be evenly distributed to all official participants, and you agree to forfeit your ranking as being the first to land on Earth in Evochron Mercenary which the honor will revert to the 2nd runner up.

I will like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Dingo for donating the 5 Billion Credits for this competition.

If you succeed, you will make History by being the next pilot behind Maarschalk to land on Earth in Evochron Mercenary.

Further Clarification of Official Rules.

For further clarification, you have to have 2 independent pilots from the contest, who will vouch for the authenticity of the landing.

That would be pretty much doing it once, and then getting your witnesses to observe your landing for the authenticity portion, or having your witnesses present.

The catch all is convincing screen shots. After the 2 independent participants, you also have to present your screenshots to everyone else in the contest.

Unless someone from the contest objects, the winner will be announced. I'm giving that honor to Dingo since he's the biggest prize donor.

If we have an objection to the screenshots, then it would take 3 votes, myself, Dingo and a forum moderator (MMaggio comes to mind).

to overturn the winner.

If the winner is overturned, then the reason for the invalidation will be announced, the decision will be final, and the contest will continue.

Unfortunately, he landed in the Bermuda Triangle and ended up somewhere west of Andromeda.

Hi KR - I think that the contest is a great idea and the prize generous, though I expect Maarschalk will claim it within a day or so

O.K. Guys the contest is back on. To sweeten the pie, I'm going to up the reward to 200,000,000 credits, and only VISIBLE PROOF ALLOWED. All other requirements in play.

Mmmmm...unfortunately in order to win you need visual proof. Keep trying though, and keeping thinking 200,000,000 credits, that's a great present for anybody.

Great try Mecingo...I'm looking for more Pilots to sign up, think of this as the ultimate challenge of making History. They will be telling your tale through the Ages. You will also have the privilege of being in the same company as the Great Yoda.

Nah, I will not be able to yet, I'm having Graphic Card Frame rate problem and my Joystick X52 is acting weird again, I will resume the quest for landing on earth once I figure out what the problems are with my Graphics Card and Joystick......but I think I will have plenty of time before some one beats me to it.....
