Joystick completely stopped working after I purchased the game.

I played completely through the trail time... I loved it! I went on steam and purchased the game. After it downloaded, I went to start it up, only to find that the Logitech 3D Pro was not responding to any of my commands. The device shows as connected, I restarted my computer, and I'm re-installing now... I have no idea what is going wrong it worked fine before I purchased it on steam.. Any suggestions?

So I have a Logitech Attack 3 Joystick, and it has previously been working just fine for Evochron. However after booting up the game today it has entirely stopped working. The Joystick works just fine for other games, but in Evochron is does nothing at all.

The only thing that I can think of that might have messed it up was that I installed Motion Joy in order to use my ps3 controller with another game. I don't have Motion Joy running, nor do I have the ps3 controller plugged in, but perhaps it installed some drivers that messed up Evochron's ability to recognize the joystick.

Any ideas?

Not really, there's no reason it would stop responding if you didn't change anything on your system (they use the same setting files). But if you changed control devices at some point, say, plugged a new one in, it could change the device ID assignments in Windows and bumped the Logitech to another slot. Try toggling the device ID's using the arrows at the top of the Configure Controls menu and test the axis channels to see if it just moved.
