Zoom in nav map in a place you are not

Sorry if this has been asked earlier, it is probably a simple thing but I havent figured it out.

I am trying to go to a certain station in the map. I am in the opposite side of the sector..

If I zoom out the nav map and select stations there are so many than text is clutered and unreadable, so I am trying to zoom in that area and set my jump coordinates to the exact location but it seems I can only zoom in where I am?

Hi and welcome.

To remove the cluttering text, cycle the "Highlight" button until you are satisfied.

To zoom in:
Right click in any sector. Then right click again (on a object) to set jump point.

Thanks I know that part, but highlight only shows text where I am in and like I said, It seems to be impossible to zoom in where I am not in the sector at least with certain precission, right clicking does a MAX ZOOM IN and I usually end in void space

I require this mostly for taxi missions.
