Military and Civilian Progression
Hi, Is there a normal or recommended progression through the systems. Civ starts in Sapphire and Mil starts in T774 where do you go next and where after that? Have read the forums for all other questions and the answers have been fantastic. Thanks!!

Hi TooTough, as a sandbox there is no real right way to do it, but for Military I suggest starting in Talison Warzone since there are no Capital ships. But you already know that since that is where combat pilot starts.
For the Civ I recommend following along with the IMG quest to give you a kind of grand tour.

Well, TT, from Saph you could pretty much go in any direction. Using the available jump-gates, the known Quadrant is navigable. It just depends on what you want to do. Mining, trade, combat/combat support missions, exploration. Truely, it's what you make of it, now that you've arrived.
Civilian contracts can be worked anywhere, in the numerous systems. Some pay better, and are more risky than others. Military missions are only available in the conflict and war zones. You can do some, or a lot of each. And that's the beauty of this game/sim, and the environment in which we fly.

I would go first to Olympus and do some mining. There you have Astroids and a Station right next to them. So you can make lots of money in a fast way. The best way to get enought money for a better ship. And than...IMG missions or some Combat missions, or, or or....
