Auto save

Hi,

I'm enjoying playing EM but have one minor problem I constantly forget to save my game . Is it possible to implement some kind of auto save in game

The problem with some auto saves is that it saves when you may NOT want it to.

Yeah, an auto save that happens just as you engage Jump and realize that you are still pointed at that asteroid would reeeeeeally suck.

Alt+F9 is your bestest friend.

I was sort of thinking of an auto save you could turn on or off in the options and it maybe saved every time you docked with a station.

Sometimes I go hours without docking. It's a good idea though, but then again I haven't been playing for as long as some of the more senior members here.

Personally I never forget to save as i've had several game crashes happen. One that even deleted my save game although thanks to quick save doing a backup of your last saved game before, i didn't end up losing more than 5 mins of gameplay (without the backup i'd have lost more like 4 hours since i'd been constantly saving on the same savegame, something i don't do anymore either, i always save on a different file every time i save) I don't think i ever go more than 5 mins without saving (except if i'm on a mission that lasts longer than this). As a PC gamer i have decades ago learned the value of constant saving:-p. In fact, i dislike autosaves because i hate the game dictacting when i want to save.
