Loading issue

I did not see this issue mentioned by anyone else unless I am blind which is a possibility.
I purchased the steam version and it ran fine for awhile but as of yesterday it has started crashing when I am loading. It gets to about 80+% and then just crashes. It gives no error message, its as if I just hit alt+F4. This issue has been happening about 7/8 tries to load will crash this way before it finally gets that 1 working load and I can play. The game runs fine once I am on and playing I have 20 hours already.

Check your running security program(s). There was an update that went live today on Steam and when updates occur, sometimes security programs can decide to 'update' and check new files on the system while you are trying to play a game. Be sure such programs are set to a 'gaming mode' if available and/or the game is listed as an exception to prevent that kind of interference. If it persists, give your system a fresh reboot, wait for a while until disc activity stops, then try launching the game again.
