Pointer accuracy issues With Windows 7 Tablet Features

Post by mikeloeven »

On playing this game on my acer iconia tab i noticed that there seems to be some issues with pointer accuracy when commands are sent to the game via a touchscreen device with windows 7 tablet features enabled

if you press the center of the screen the mouse will be 100% accurate but the farther away from the center of the screen you touch the farther off the pointer will be in the game. additionally the game doesent properly register mouse clicks or right clicks when tapping or tap-hold gestures are made

Yeah, the game isn’t really designed for touch interfaces, so it’s just not a design function of the game. However, the game does support different offset values to calibrate its pointer with mismatched interfaces. To use this option, open the sw.cfg file in the save data folder and edit the line that says ‘MouseOffset=0’. Change the 0 to a different value to adjust the offset, 0.1 or –0.1 for example. It may take some trial and error, but you should be able to apply a value that better aligns the pointer with the touch interface.
