New, for Evochron Mercenaries!

Strange Industries brings you the new Hex gunsight. The Hex design is futuristic, fashionable, and functional, with high-visibility contrast, for unparalleled clarity in dark space as well as bright clouds. It comes if 3 fashionable colors:

and fire

Download the set from here:
http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10154

After you download, you can drop them in your Hud folder and change the file names to activate. Enjoy!

Thanks, I hope you use and enjoy it.

I wonder if there is a way to remove the shield indicators on the hud. I find them a bit cluttersome.

Yup, just insert a small 8X8 or something blank image for each array indicator (b2shieldX filenames in the custom kit).

Personally I prefer them on the HUD where I'm looking in combat than down to the left - by the time I've spotted the diddy display and looked at the colour I've missed the hostile and am stardust (and golden!) :P:P:P

I liked Comitis (when is a working version coming Seige?) because of the big easy to glance at display of shields and other things - we "more mature" (OK old) pilots don't have such quick reflexes and good eyesight anymore :P:P:P

I also liked the smug feeling of seeing all my "stuff" and $$$ as well!:P:P

Sometimes I'm reminded of Phantom Pilots in Vietnam who turned off the missile warning sounds because they were suffering from info overload - big and simple for the main things (ie how soon I am about to meet my maker) works for me! :D

To each his own. I find that the shield displays in the hud get lost in the action, but when I take a few hits, I automatically glance down at the mfd to see how my shields are doing.

OK, DaveK, I have added a new shield indicator for the hud, just for you. Let me know what you think.

You can download it here. http://www.mediafire.com/myfiles.php

I'm putting it up now because I'm going to use a blank because I prefer not to have shield information on the hud.

I'd post a picture, but I'm lazy.

Hi Nigel

Thank you! I'd love to try it - but when I click on the link I'm moved to the MediaFire homepage rather than the download page. :(

Edit (a thought)

normally MediaFire download links end in /?klfug5wnjrfgviu codes rather than /myfiles.php :)
