Can't adjust relative shield/weapon energies

Post by DaveK »

Hi

Having invested in a shield recharger I thought that my canon had started to give up the ghost! The shield recharger thread explains all! :)

Someone suggested using [ and ] to give priority to the weapons, but when I use the keys, all I get it a flicker of the indicator in the cockpit but no change from 0 and 0! :(

I'm sure I've seen non-zero values in screenshots. Is there a secret to altering them?. Would it help if I uninstalled EM and re-installed to get a fresh start. I've got a couple of mods (cockpit, jump graphics, active map graphics) and use Atollski's, SeeJay's and Siege's utilities. But I must have "upgraded" EM half a dozen times or more! :D

You may just have a controller axis mapped to the energy setting. Just map that control to 'No Axis' after going through the axis binding process, then try the keys again.

Thanks Vice

When I first set up the joystick I mapped energy to a spare rotation control - not at that time knowing what enery did! Works fine now :D
