how to place trading stations?

how do you do it? i bought a bulild consrcuctor, and i have built other things with it, but for some reason i can not build a trading station. i have 2.5 mill, and that should be enough to do it. what am i doing worng?

I think you skipped reading (lol) the instructions. You have to be within the coordinates of 50,50,50 in a sector. You also can not build if a planet or other station in in the next sector. Jump onto MP and someone should be able to help you.

no, i was in the range, and i can place research and constroctors okay, but trade stations dont work for me. i hold alt, click on the tab, move my mouse over the " trade staton" button, then type in a name, then click. noothing hapens.

You also need to be at speed=0 in all directions.

But you can be in the same sector as a planet or a star ... as long as you're still two sectors from another station.

Yep, the most important is to be completely still without moving when building.....
