Firstly let me just say a well done on an amazing game. I've not played any previous Evechron games (or any space games in about 5 years) but I can see myself spending many hours here
Secondly I want to say another very well done to Atollski on his (and the others who helped) navigation system. Took a while for me to get up and runnin with it but as a newbie I found it very helpfull.
Now to the question. I have been doing the quest missions and I have been given co-ordinates to 3 container as my first prizes. Problem is I can't find them once I have jumped. I find myself in space above new hope with no purple dots on my navigation? So as a newbie I'm here to hopefully get some tips on where I'm goin wrong.
If I recall it right, you need to read the instructions once more. I think they direct you
to Glacia on that one. The Position coords you have only works if you are in the
correct sector coords (Glacia)
If you need more help, my website might be of use to you.
It is a spoiler as well thou.

At the mo it's just me and a couple of friends messing around in a private hosted game getting used to the controls and building up our ship. But I'll be sure to hop on remula one at some point soon.
SeeJay is correct about the Quest. Most clues reference different sectors ... either via an object in the new sector or by the use of sector coordinates (SX, SY and SZ).
Your next pitfall will probably be the old "out of plane got'cha" ... trying to right-click on an object that's either above or below your current position.
After several jumps directly into space stations and planets resulting in a nice explosion I did come across another post about right clicking to jump into the docks and how to use the rear view to corectly jump near a planets city e.t.c. But cheers for the heads up .
Glad you're up and running and hope to see you on multiplayer soon...
If you haven't already, check out SeeJay's and MapMan's work of art as well as Siege's Comitis. There are also lots of awesome mods by Leatherpoker, Warsign, Accountant and many others that are well worth looking into...
Like exploring? - Ver. 1.0 (13/02/2011)What is this?
Thanks for the plug Though i have to say that your system is excellent for the explorer in all of us As for finding things then Seejay and Mapman's project is invaluable so I heartily recommend them.
