My engines won't turn off!
Try resetting your keyboard via the options menu.

My engines won't turn off!
Sorry, I meant to delete thread, but obviously it deleted the post. I restarted the game and it got fixed, maybe a bug I dunno.

My engines won't turn off!
It will also stay lit if you've accidently set your ship to match speed or follow another ship.
