Simple question about Gas Giants

Do some gas giants have lighting storms in them? If not, would it be possible for something like this to be added in future updates? I understand there would be no significance gameplay wise here, but it would be very cool.

Start with Venus. There are gas giants with a surface ... an impressive view from hover mode.

I'm glad this community is very welcoming. You don't get very many communities like this.

I have always been tempted to get Evochron Mercenary and I finally got it with a friend. At first, I made mistakes such as warping while on a planet or warping into a planet by mistake

I'm just really curious if there really are gas giants with lightning storms. I flew into one yesterday; it was windy and scary, but no lightning.

One more question, do some planets have different sizes? In renegades, pluto was the same size as jupiter

The sizes vary in Mercenary ... although Pluto is probably bigger than in reality and Jupiter is smaller. It's all relative.

I have not explored any Gas giants but I know that many planets in the game do have electrical storms...

well i just went into the turbulent wind storm of a gas giant to see if it had a solid core but then i blew up as i got closer to the center

Some gas giants have solid cores and some don't. Always save before trying to land on one.

I flew through a gas giant once, and got disoriented very quickly, couldn't tell if I was going up or down, I started to panic, and remembered to trust my instruments. Whew.
