Any kind of 'God Mode'?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Evochron Universe. Just bought Renegades a week ago and tired of getting killed (too many high threat ships and major reputation changes when first jumping out of the Sapphire sector). Is there any kind of 'God Mode' I can enable, so that gun or missile hits on me will have no effect?

I am a fan of Freelancer (space adventure sim from Microsoft Games) and I can enable God Mode by changing one line of code in a .ini file. Just wondering if the same is possible here. :)

Sorry no GOD mode. Experience is the best way to survive. It seems very hard but one thing to remember is don't take on more than you can defeat. Try to get one enemy away from the rest. If you run they will follow and then you can at times take them on as they get near you. Good luck.;)

It seems that Eclipse is constantly playing under God mode. I have never seen him die once. Ever.
Like exploring? - Ver. 1.0 (13/02/2011) What is this?

I wouldn't be surprised if you are pretty skillful yourself (Haven't seen you fight yet)
but I've noticed that you 're fighting Eclipse every now and then.;)

The best way to really improve is to fight against the best (in my opinion).

The rare times (LOL) that I get killed I learn something new to improve my skills.
