Hey. Leatherpoker made a mod of the quadrant map. In the thread, they talked about a zoom feature. Can you zoom in on the quadrant map? Can't find any documentation about it. That would sure be cool. Thanks.

 Vice added it after the initial release ... I'm not sure if it's still only part of the test releases or not. Check the forum for the latest release, download, and install over whatever versioin of the game you're currently using.

;) After starting the game, go to the Nav Console. Click on the Quadrant button and you'll see a new button for zooming.

just my luck on new nav map, on exploritory/quadrant map, i'm not on it,

way outside, nowhere near as far as others, but getting sw to record any strangeness i come across,

in MP be nice if you could trade nav charts, whether their real or not is another thing, risk factor.

I have always liked that idea as well, or something like it. Instead of coercing another player for co-ords, it would be nice if there were someway to "discover" old nav maps or clues to undiscoverd systems.
I would like to see some nav maps on derelict ships that give clues to unknown systems.
Anyway, something like that...

 Well, Vice might be able to add graphics to the quest via the universe file. If he re-did a beacon to look like a wreck.

Could be a great idea for the quest I'm working on. At least a torn map or something! Thx! ;)

:o The trick is creating an interesting script. And making it difficult (but not impossible) to find "extended quest" beacons.
