I got EL last Thursday, Vince sorted out my problem and started
playing Friday. Since then I seem to be missing a day or two,
I will not repeat what my wife was saying and the kids are also
complaining to her that they can't use the pc while I'm playing
EL.
Basicaly I'm just flying around mapping areas and doing a little
mineing to upgrade the rookie ship so that I can run or fight long
enough to run if I get in trouble.
Now to the meat of the complaint:
My complaint is that this game should have a health warning
that it's possible to loose all sence of time while playing and that
can cause family upsets/break ups, loss of social life or said family.

B.T.W. now the wife has gone to the kitchen I can say thanks for this wonderful game and hope to see u all in MP when I get
a bit more used to the joystick (this is my first ever flight sim of any kind)

Yikes! Nothing worse that wife aggro! I have to play that game very carefully myself. Lucky for me she is working an overnight shift tonight so I can play all night without any wife aggro!

LOL, I have the same problem. Looooooong nights when the rest of the family sleeps. (Eye's bleeding)

Join MP now. Everybody is really helpful. Is it EL or EM you're playing. EM is the latest.

I've a wife and kids where else do you think I sleep (only at work).
You ppl do relise that this is all Vince's fault, he's the main guy and
if he did'ent sort my problem in the first place so I could play
I would'ent be in this problem and have the wife make me complain.

Just to say thanks again for a brilliant game.
I'm only playing EL I might end it all and buy EM sometime lol

ROFL I think that's a fantastic compromise. You are a gentleman for sure.
Unfortunatelym we do not have "basements" here in Florida. You dig three feet and you hit water. So, the best we can do here is try to Air condition the garage, turn it into a "sewing/exercize room for the "Lady of the house" and take full command of the living room, so I can play on the Big Screen TV !
That way, I have full access to the fridge for food & beer !
