Renaming Stations

I have a couple of permanent stations I built, and was wondering if there was a way to rename them, or is the original name permanent? Thanks.

No, they can be renamed, but the server has to do it. Just advise the server of the name of which station, where, which name, and what new name you wish

I'm probably missing a step some where, my stations are in single player, when I log into MP they are not there. Actually, I can't build any new stations in that same location because there are other stations there, if that's what you mean?

For SP built stations, you will need to destroy them, then rebuild them under the new name you want.
