What is the easiest way to raise your military rank and civilian rank? Doing mission by mission for military I find is very tedious. Same with civilian, also, raising money also takes a long time to get to the highest rank.
There is no easy way. Kind'a like real life.-

There is too an easy way... Rescue escape pods, find lost items, do spy missions while cloaked

If you explorer and check out some of the things your Sciense Ops tell you, you can find weapen etc. In the more danger system these weapon pay of 200k or more. So a run to the station and back often with full load give 800k to 1mill per run that take less than 60 sec.
So making 50 mill to 60mill in 1 hour is piece of cake

Unfortunately, the 5 dots in civilian require something in excess of 1.000.000.000 Credits. And don't get me startet on the higher echelons, IIRC legend was something along the lines of 6.000.000.000 .
Military ranks cap at 1000 sorties. Looks like you'll be busy for a while. Send me a few picture postcards from the warzones...

LOL...No easy way in Mercenary yet.......but the boring way......just like real life....so try to do fun stuff to enjoy the game and make money exploring and trading....
