mutilplayer help
If me and my brother want to play a private multiplayer game, and we were to build a station or something, if we leave the game and then make a new game the next day will the station still be there?

Yup, just make sure to use the server program which records the information.

The only way you can join your own server is with another computer via LAN.

I would not recommend running it that way as the two programs would just be fighting each other for resources and game performance would likely suffer. It's best to run the server program on a system 'dedicated' to it, even if it's an older/slower system.i downloaded that server program. can i just run it in the background on this comp, then start mercs on this same comp?

In multiplayer mostly yes (although you can try running both if you have a really strong system), in single player no.
