Main quest: some I.M.G. contract in multiplayer section are impossible to do? (SPOILER)

Hi guys,
in the main quest, in multiplayer section, at the 3th IMG contract (the race versus other pilot) the game tell me that i can't do this contract in multiplayer section.....

So if i want to do this contract i must go in singleplayer section (and then back in multiplayer)? There are other contract of the main quest that i can't do in multiplayer section?

That should be the only one, and only because the racing mode is different in the two modes (AI versus racing other human players).
