O.K. now, I was recently informed that I would probably have to be in the BILLIONS on credits to progress very far with civilian rank. Right now the fastest way I know to make money is buy Fulcrum Torpedoes in Pearl and run them to the hidden planet in Cerulean. I load up all 5 bays and all 8 hard points and sell them all when I get there. Now if I spend much on fulcrums and fleet in the mean time, I still make quite a profit; but billions would be a long time coming. Does anyone know a faster way?:o

Stick with the FT run. If not in Pearl, then head for the Sol system ... Jupiter station to Earth station.

There is a hidden planet in Pearl as well where you can get max profit for your FTs. You do not have to travel to another system.
Also get some station licenses at the stations where you buy the FTs from you'll get 20% discount buying them from those stations and then you make an extra 20% profit on top of your regular profit when selling at the hidden planet. I have 55 billion in credits....LOL...

I agree pearl system is a real money maker, even for beginners (like me). There is a platinum asteroid field (only platinum). Its a great system.

I always see senior players spending lots of time in Pearl. Although, thankfully, a few have left Pearl to guide me toward places where the money is good.

As someone whose been playing since only December... I'd stay in Sol.
Buy FT at Jupiter, sell at Earth. If no FT available, try Stealth Fields. Not as good money but better than nothing!
I used to trade FT in Sol one day then kill Vonari in Sierra war zone the next. My fortune & rank grew steadily. Good luck & have fun!

Maarschalk thanks for the station license idea! great game plan. However, that hidden planet in Cerulean buys Fulcrums for about 2 million more (per torpedo) than the hidden planet in Pearl. Definitely worth the trip!;);)

Hey Marvin, I've got to thank you. I just recently took your advice on trading in Sol System. I run from Jupiter to Saturn to Mars and then return to Earth. I bought station licenses for the three outer planets and.......WOW!!:P That is the fastest, easiest, and SAFEST way to make a fortune and build your civilian rank. There are no hostiles in Sol. Belated but sincere thanks!;):)

You can buy auto cm launchers or missile defence systems for about 5 million with license at one of the Gorfburgers in Pearl and sell for 16 million at EF17 in north Pearl. You can also top up with FT's if there are any, then there's always the hidden Banshee container which go for 1 million a pop. 1 run takes about 2 or 3 minutes and nets a 30-40 million profit.

Uhhh,...not really.....I still play Legends. My computer will manage the graphics on Mercenary if I opt out of pixel shader; but the memory required is about 5 times that of Legends--and this would be my second upgrade of that kind. --I still have fun on Legends though.
